    Terms of Service

    Last updated 2026-07-24

DRAFT — FOR LEGAL REVIEW. This wording is pending counsel sign-off.

These Terms govern your use of Harmoney — the tap card, dashboard, payment links, invoices, catalog, and registry (together, the “Services”).

    1. Who we are

Harmoney Financial Technologies (“Harmoney”, “we”) provides commerce software for small businesses. Harmoney is a software layer: card payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe’s own terms, and payouts settle directly to your connected account. Harmoney does not hold, pool, or transmit your funds.

    2. Your account

You must provide accurate business information at signup and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding your sign-in credentials.

You must be authorized to act for the business you register, and your business must be permitted under Stripe’s Restricted Businesses list and applicable card-network rules.

    3. The tap card

Purchase of a Harmoney tap card gives you title to the physical card. The routing logic, firmware, and software behind it remain Harmoney’s property; you may not reverse-engineer, clone, or resell the card as a payment device.

You are responsible for what your card is programmed to do and for the accuracy of amounts, bookings, and content it triggers.

    4. Fees

Harmoney charges the platform fee published on our Pricing page (currently 1.5% + 5¢ per transaction). Stripe’s standard processing fees apply separately and are billed through Stripe. Both appear in your reporting.

    5. Acceptable use

No unlawful goods or services, no deceptive sales practices, no use of the Services to collect payments you are not entitled to. We may suspend accounts that create risk for customers, other merchants, Stripe, or Harmoney.

    6. Liability & changes

The Services are provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law; our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid Harmoney in the three months before the claim.

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect.
